This access is strictly used for processing and delivering the functionalities of the AI, and Rootlenses maintains strict controls over data security and confidentiality. Users consent to this access while understanding these safeguards.

Users understand that the AI relies on this input to generate outputs, and Rootlenses cannot control, and is not responsible for, any errors or omissions that may occur as a result.

 

While the Service is designed to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and data analysis, it is not a substitute for professional judgment or independent verification. Any features not explicitly described in these Terms are outside the scope of the Service, and their availability or performance is not guaranteed.

Service Setup and Configuration

The deployment of Rootlenses Insight begins with a collaborative process to ensure the Service meets the client’s business objectives and can interact seamlessly with their data environment. The process starts with an initial consultation to understand the organization’s databases, reporting needs, and the types of insights required.

 

Rootlenses Insight natively supports integration with multiple database systems, including MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres, and Oracle. Using its Model Context Protocol (MCP), the platform can also connect to additional tools, data sources, and services through a unified API, ensuring standardized access and interactions across the organization.

 

During setup, the AI-powered chat is configured to understand and contextualize the client’s data. Templates, queries, and visualization settings are established so the agent can generate tables, graphical reports, and automated insights. The model continuously improves its analysis and recommendations as it learns more from the data, helping clients identify opportunities and optimize business strategies.

 

The configuration process also includes establishing role-based access controls. Users can be assigned different permission levels and contexts within the same database, controlling which tables can be viewed, used, or fully restricted. This granular management ensures that sensitive information is protected while providing authorized users with the data they need.

 

Finally, the system is set up to handle data exports in formats such as CSV, XLS, JPG, or PNG, ensuring flexibility in reporting and downstream usage. Testing validates that the AI agent interprets queries correctly, delivers meaningful outputs, and supports informed decision-making.

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Rootlenses Insight is designed to provide reliable access to your data, analytics, and AI-generated insights. The following SLA defines our operational commitments and support obligations:

 

Service Availability (Uptime)

  • Availability Commitment: Rootlenses Insight guarantees a service uptime of 99.5% per month, equivalent to a maximum of 3.65 hours of unplanned downtime per month.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Planned maintenance windows will be communicated at least 72 hours in advance and scheduled to minimize user disruption.

 

Support Response Times

  • Critical Incidents: Initial response within 1 hour during business hours.
  • High-Priority Incidents: Initial response within 4 hours.
  • Standard Incidents: Initial response within 1 business day.
  • After-Hours Support: Available for critical incidents outside standard business hours, on a best-effort basis.
     

Service Failure Remedies

  • Service Credits: Users may request service credits if uptime commitments are not met. Credits are calculated as 5% of the monthly service fee per hour of downtime exceeding the SLA, up to a maximum of 25% of the monthly fee.
  • Claim Process: Requests for service credits must be submitted in writing within 10 business days of the incident.

 

SLA Exclusions

  • Force Majeure: The SLA does not apply to disruptions caused by events beyond Rootlenses’ reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or third-party service failures.
  • User-Caused Incidents: Issues resulting from improper configurations, unauthorized access, or misuse of the platform are excluded from SLA guarantees.
     

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Real-Time Monitoring: Users have access to dashboards displaying system health, uptime, and performance metrics.
  • Monthly Performance Reports: Rootlenses Insight provides monthly reports detailing uptime, system performance, and support ticket statistics.

 

Intellectual Property Rights and Licenses

All intellectual property rights in Rootlenses Insight, including its AI models, data integration protocols, templates, scripts, visualizations, and any associated software or materials, are exclusively owned by Rootlenses and its affiliates. This ownership extends to any improvements, updates, or modifications developed by Rootlenses.

 

When clients access the Service, they are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Rootlenses Insight solely for the purposes defined during setup and configuration. This license does not confer any ownership rights and is strictly restricted to authorized internal business use. Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, reverse engineering, or creating derivative works from the Service without prior written authorization from Rootlenses.

 

The Service may integrate with third-party technologies and platforms through its MCP (Model Context Protocol) and unified API. Use of these components is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective third parties, and Rootlenses assumes no ownership or liability beyond what is necessary to deliver Rootlenses Insight.

 

All data uploaded or processed within the Service remains the property of the user or their organization. Rootlenses retains rights over the underlying software, frameworks, configurations, and AI models that enable the Service to function, while users are responsible for ensuring that their content does not infringe on third-party rights or violate applicable laws.

 

By using Rootlenses Insight, users acknowledge and agree to respect these intellectual property rights, operate strictly within the scope of the license granted, and understand that unauthorized use may result in suspension of access or legal action.

 

User Responsibilities and Compliance

Users of Rootlenses Insight are expected to operate the Service responsibly, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Service is designed to provide secure, AI-driven access to business data, enabling insights, visualizations, and recommendations, and must not be used for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes. Attempts to manipulate outputs, bypass system restrictions, or misuse user data are strictly prohibited.

 

While Rootlenses Insight delivers actionable analyses and intelligent suggestions, the Service relies on AI models and user-provided data. Users acknowledge that outputs may contain errors, omissions, or context-driven inaccuracies, and all decisions based on the Service are the sole responsibility of the user. Independent judgment and verification are required when applying the insights provided by the AI.

 

Access to the Service may be suspended or revoked at Rootlenses’ discretion if users fail to comply with these responsibilities or other provisions of these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, unauthorized sharing of access credentials, circumvention of security measures, or engagement in activities that compromise the integrity, confidentiality, or performance of the platform.

 

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of data accessed through the Service. Rootlenses Insight ensures that information is protected through role-based access controls, user-specific permissions, and end-to-end security protocols, and users are expected to uphold equivalent standards of responsible use.

 

By using Rootlenses Insight, users agree to adhere fully to these responsibilities, recognizing that violations may result in suspension, revocation of access, or legal action, and that these obligations are essential for safe, ethical, and effective operation of the Service.

 

Input & Output / Restricted Input Content

Users are responsible for the content they input into the Service and for the proper use of the output generated. The Service is designed to process inputs and deliver outputs according to the templates, scripts, and configurations established during setup. Users must ensure that the content they provide does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or the rights of any third party.

 

Restricted Input Content includes, but is not limited to, content that may cause physical or mental harm, emotional distress, death, disability, disfigurement, or illness; content that exploits or harms children; content that solicits personally identifiable information in a manner that may constitute or contribute to illegal activity; and content that is unlawful, offensive, abusive, harassing, defamatory, threatening, or otherwise objectionable. Users must not provide content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy or publicity rights, or includes information for which they have not obtained necessary permissions. Additionally, content that is false, misleading, adult in nature, or related to unauthorized commercial activities (such as contests, sweepstakes, advertising, or pyramid schemes) is strictly prohibited.

 

Enforcement and Escalation

Rootlenses will provide written notice to users if their content is deemed in violation of these restrictions, along with an opportunity to cure the violation within 5 business days. Repeated violations or failure to cure may result in escalation, including suspension or termination of access to the Service. Rootlenses reserves the right to disclose information as required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or official requests.

 

Users acknowledge that adherence to these restrictions and procedures is essential for the safe and lawful use of the Service and agree to comply fully when providing input or relying on output generated by Rootlenses.

 

Use of the Service

Users agree to access and use Rootlenses Insight solely for its intended purposes, leveraging the platform to analyze, visualize, and interact with their data in a secure and responsible manner. The Service is designed to provide actionable insights, generate reports, and facilitate informed decision-making, and it must not be used for any unlawful, unauthorized, or malicious activities.

 

Users are responsible for ensuring that their activities do not disrupt the functionality, security, or integrity of the Service, its infrastructure, or the experience of other users. Any attempts to bypass system restrictions, reverse engineer the platform, exploit vulnerabilities, or manipulate outputs are strictly prohibited.

 

Rootlenses Insight may integrate with third-party applications, APIs, or data sources to deliver enhanced functionality. Users acknowledge that the availability, reliability, and security of these external components are not guaranteed by Rootlenses, and any issues arising from third-party interactions are the user’s responsibility.

 

Users must provide accurate, complete, and authorized data inputs. Reliance on outputs, insights, or recommendations generated by the Service is at the user’s own risk, and users must exercise independent judgment when applying these results to business decisions. Rootlenses reserves the right to suspend or restrict access for any user whose actions compromise the Service, violate these Terms, or threaten the security, performance, or lawful operation of the platform.

 

By using Rootlenses Insight, users accept responsibility for their conduct, their inputs, and the consequences of relying on AI-generated outputs, understanding that responsible use ensures a secure, reliable, and effective experience for all users.

Users acknowledge that any violation of these Terms or misuse of the software may result in suspension or termination of access, and Rootlenses reserves the right to enforce compliance and protect its rights, including reporting violations to applicable authorities.

 

By using the software, users accept responsibility for their conduct, the accuracy and appropriateness of the inputs, and the outputs generated through the platform, understanding that Rootlenses Insight does not guarantee uninterrupted functionality or specific results, and that responsible use ensures the software remains secure, reliable, and effective for all users.

 

Third-Party Applications

Rootlenses Insight may integrate with third-party applications, platforms, or services, including MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, and MCP integrations, to extend its functionality and provide seamless data access, analysis, and visualization. Users acknowledge that interactions with these external services are subject to the terms, policies, and conditions established by the respective providers:

 

Rootlenses does not guarantee the availability, security, or performance of any third-party services. By connecting Rootlenses Insight to these platforms, users assume full responsibility for compliance with applicable rules, and for the accuracy and lawfulness of any data shared. Rootlenses does not endorse, control, or assume liability for errors, interruptions, or losses resulting from third-party integrations.

 

Users must exercise caution and ensure that data shared with external services complies with applicable privacy laws, security policies, and internal organizational standards. Rootlenses reserves the right to limit or restrict integrations where necessary to maintain the integrity, security, or performance of the platform.

 

By using third-party applications in conjunction with Rootlenses Insight, users accept responsibility for their actions, the consequences of integration, and acknowledge that Rootlenses is not liable for issues originating from external services, while still providing its own technical support for the platform’s core functionality.

 

User Content and Customer Warranty

As a user of Rootlenses Insight, you are responsible for any content, data, scripts, or inputs you provide to the platform (User Content). You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to provide such content, and that it does not violate any law, third-party right, or these Terms. You retain ownership of your User Content, but by using the platform, you grant Rootlenses Insight a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, process, and display your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

 

Rootlenses Insight does not assume responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of any User Content. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the information you input and the outputs you receive from the platform comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal organizational policies. Misuse of the platform or input of restricted or prohibited content may result in suspension or termination of access.

 

Regarding Customer Warranty, the platform is provided on an “as is” basis, without guarantees of specific outcomes. While Rootlenses Insight strives to maintain reliable and secure operations, users acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may contain errors or limitations, and that the platform relies on third-party integrations that may impact performance. Use of the platform is at the user’s own risk, and Rootlenses disclaims any liability for losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of User Content, AI outputs, or other results obtained through the Service.

 

By using Rootlenses Insight, users accept full responsibility for the content they provide, the way they use the platform, and any consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs, while Rootlenses commits to delivering the Service according to its technical and operational capabilities.

 

Warranty

Rootlenses Insight is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

 

While Rootlenses Insight takes commercially reasonable steps to maintain the Service operational, reliable, and secure, it does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet every specific requirement of each user. Users are responsible for evaluating the suitability of the platform for their own business and technical needs, and any reliance on outputs, recommendations, or insights provided by the platform is at the user’s own risk.

 

Rootlenses Insight continuously updates and improves its features and capabilities, applying technical and operational measures to maintain performance, security, and reliability, but these updates do not constitute additional warranties.

 

The platform may integrate with third-party services, APIs, or vendors, and Rootlenses Insight does not guarantee their availability, compatibility, or performance.

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rootlenses expressly disclaims any liability for losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of the Service, including system interruptions, security breaches, data loss, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content. Users acknowledge that the platform is continuously evolving, and that its features, functions, and availability are subject to change at Rootlenses’ discretion.

 

Limitation of Liability

Rootlenses shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Rootlenses will accept limited liability for direct damages caused by its gross negligence or willful misconduct, subject to a maximum aggregate liability not exceeding the total fees paid by the user for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

 

Rootlenses is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or other harm resulting from unauthorized access to secure servers or information, including personal or financial data, nor for errors or losses resulting from third-party applications or integrations. Interruptions, transmission failures, or technical issues, including bugs, viruses, or other harmful code introduced by third parties, are not covered.

 

The total liability of Rootlenses, its affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors shall not exceed the maximum amount specified above, regardless of the legal theory or basis of the claim. Certain jurisdictions may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental, consequential, or implied damages, or may impose stricter rules regarding gross negligence, and nothing in these Terms shall be construed to limit liability to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

 

Force Majeure

Rootlenses Insight shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of the Service caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, or technical disruptions affecting AI model availability or API access. Indemnification

User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rootlenses Insight, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with User's violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of applicable law.

Rootlenses Insight is not liable for any consequences, losses, or damages arising from decisions made based on the AI-generated content. Data Quality Disclaimers: Users are solely responsible for the quality, accuracy, and completeness of the data provided. Rootlenses Insight does not verify or validate user data and is not responsible for any decisions or actions taken based on flawed or incomplete input data.

 

Role-Based Access Controls: Users must configure role-based permissions properly to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data. Rootlenses Insight is not responsible for misconfigured access roles or unauthorized access resulting from user mismanagement.
